BJP President Shri Amit Shah addressed a gathering of meritorious students on the sidelines of launch of 'Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana' in Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal Today. Shri Shah discussed youth oriented policy initiatives taken by the Government of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Shri Shah said, Madhya Pradesh which was once a BIMARU state, made giant strides and came out of the sluggish BIMARU tag under the leadership of Shri Shivraj Singh. Madhya Pradesh is counted among the developed states of India today. Shri Shivraj Singh not only thought to develop the state but also framed policies and ensured their implementation at the grass-root level, Shri Shah said. The result of his initiatives are visible to the whole world within the short span of 12-13 years. Commending the launch of 'Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana', the BJP President said, only a sensitive person can bring such a scheme. God has blessed everyone with capacity but if he does not get a proper platform he cannot deliver the desired results, either for himself or for the country, he said. If the parents of a meritorious student are not well off financially, then that student faces trouble pursuing further studies, and may come under depression. It becomes a sort of social injustice, the BJP President said. Lauding the Madhya Pradesh Government under Shri Shivraj Singh for launching ' Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana', Shri shah said this scheme will ensure that anyone with annual income less than Rs. 6 lakh, should get education up to his or her will. Shri Shah said that the BJP government under Shri Narendra Modi initiated skill India to bring youngster to the process of nation building and so far 50 Lakh youngsters have been benefitted by this scheme. Shri Narendra Modi turned the youth from job seeker, to job creator and he inspired youth to create employment, the party president said. To create further vast employment opportunities, Prime Minister Shri Modi has asked the bank managers to provide loans to poor and tribal youth and lakhs of young entrepreneurs have been provided loans for their own start-ups. Mudra bank scheme alone has provided loans to 7.5 crore youth ranging from 10,000 to 10,00000, Shri Shah added. Thus under 'start-up India' the youth, have turned into job creator, from job seeker. Shri Shah said that the world's major companies like Facebook and Whatsapp were also start-ups in the beginning, but today they are providing jobs to thousands of youths across the globe. Shri Shah said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched a combination of 'Digital India' and 'start-up India' to explore the potentials among youth. Exhorting the students to serve the poor and contribute in nation building after their education, Shri Shah said whether they become a Doctor or Engineer they should serve the poorest of the poor. He said that he was optimistic that the scheme launched by Shri Shivraj Singh would bring tremendous opportunities. Those who become Doctor should serve the villages at least for three years
