Union Home Minister dedicates and lays foundation stone of various developmental works in Sanand-Bavla Taluka
Dedication and laying foundation stone of developmental works of more than Rs.78 crore completed in Sanand and Bavla Taluka in presence of Gujarat Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister
Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah today dedicated and laid foundation stone of various developmental works of Rs. 78 crores in Sanand and Bavla Taluka. The development in Ahmedabad has taken a new direction, along with this, basic facilities are also being made available to the people, like benefits of housing schemes to electricity, toilets, gas connections and health cards. More than 5500 assistance orders were handed over to widow in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Nitin Patel.
World record of mass distribution of widow pension assistance to widows was also made in the presence of Union Home Minister Mr. Amita Shah and Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Nitin Patel. More than 5500 widows were handed over with assistance orders from one place at Sanand in Ahmedabad. State Government is always with widows and Rs. 1200 per month will be provided as assistance to them. Now, Government is committed to provide tap water facility to every house, said Mr. Shah.
Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani detailed the announcement made by Mr. Shah to provide Rs. 1200 per month to widow and said that the amount will be directly deposited in the bank account of widow every month. Through this scheme Government has got an opportunity to serve widow and to stand by their side. Our Government is a sensitive Government, it has always thought for the development for the people of the State and Nation. Our Government has various schemes to provide assistance to poor and needy people of the state.
In the last two days, developmental works worth crores of rupees have been dedicated in Gandhinagar as well Ahmedabad district. The Central Government and the State Government are making all kinds of efforts for development works throughout Gujarat.
On the occasion cotton bags were distributed to highlight the campaign of “Plastic Free India”.
On the occasion Home Minister Mr. Pradeepsinh Jadeja, Gujarat BJP President Mr. Jitu Vaghani, MLA Mr. Kanubhai Patel, Agriculture Minister Mr. R. C. Faldu, Collector, District Development Officer and various dignitaries remained present.
