Press Statement by BJP National President Shri Amit Shah
BJP National President Shri Amit Shah has expressed deep concerns over the flood situation in West Bengal, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttarakhand and Assam.
He urged all the BJP MPs, MLAs, local body representatives and party workers to go in the flood affected area immediately and help in the relief and rescue operations in the flood affected areas.
Shri Shah spoke to CMs and BJP state presidents of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Assam along with BJP state presidents of Bihar, West Bengal and Uttarakhand and expressed his deep concerns in this regard. He asked them to bring immediate relief faster so that the relief could reach out to affected people in every flood-affected areas.
Shri Shah said that every possible help will be provided to the people steeped in crisis due to this natural calamity. He expressed deep concerns over the loss of life and property caused by floods and also expressed his grave condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the flood.
