BJP welcomes the judgement of Kolkata High Court for directing Kolkata Municipal Corporation and Kolkata Police of cooperating with BJP state unit in holding of Sh Amit Shah ji's rally at Victoria House Kolkata on 30th Nov 2014.
It is a historical judgement since it paves the way for equality to be maintained by local administrations for all political parties and not to be influenced by their political masters. The court's observation that it is for the first time a political party after complying with the law has come to us and they should be given leeway signifies that BJP had adhered to the law and still was being denied permission. It is a wrap on the anarchist style of Mamata Baneerji's governance. They had created multiple layers to stop the rally of 30 th Nov despite BJP seeking permission since 22nd July 2014. Only after two reminders to the Kolkata Police the BJP State unit moved the Kolkata High Court. Finally Democracy has won in West Bengal and it is the beginning of the end of Mamata Baneerji' s regime.
Sh Amit Shah ji's rally will celebrate Vijay Diwas along with Utthan Diwas.
