भारतीय जनता पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष श्री अमित शाह द्वारा भाषण के बौद्धिक और प्रतिष्ठित नागरिकों की बैठक के संबोधन के मुख्य बिंदु

Congress relished power for all these years but perhaps it had no idea that the power is meant for the welfare of the villages, poor, farmers, Dalits, backward, tribals, youth and the women
*********
In the last three years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party government at the Centre accomplished several works for the development of Madhya Pradesh.
*********
It is clear that whenever the BJP comes to power in the country, the country's GDP rises and whenever the Congress assumes power, the GDP plummets.
*********
The Central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of Shri Shivraj Singh are working for the welfare of the people. Everyone should participate in the journey of reconstruction and move India towards the path of development.
*********
In the 14th Finance Commission, the Modi government has allocated Rs 2,99,389 crore as central share for Madhya Pradesh, whereas in the 13th Finance Commission, the Congress led UPA Government had given Rs 10,885 crore only, thus the allocation by our government is three times as compared to that made by the UPA government.
*********
In the form of grant funds, the 14th Finance Commission has allocated an amount of Rs.22,369 crore to Madhya Pradesh which is almost twice in the 13th Finance Commission under the UPA Government. The UPA gave only Rs. 11,450 crore in this category.
*********
In the 14th Finance Commission, the Modi government has allocated Rs 18,733 crore for Madhya Pradesh as its share in Central Tax, while in the 13th Finance Commission the Congress government provided only Rs 5,014 crore to the state of Madhya Pradesh.
*********
Several governments have done two historical works in 50 years, the Modi government has done 50 such works in three years.
*********
The Bharatiya Janata Party is indeed a party with difference from all parties, because the BJP is the only party among 1650 parties in the country, which has a robust internal democracy.
*********
Everyone knows who will be the next president of Congress but nobody knows who will be the next president of Bharatiya Janata Party.
*********
In BJP, the President is not elected on the basis of birth in a family, but on the basis of his deeds, this is the reason that a booth worker can also become the president of the party and the son of a poor can become the Prime Minister of the country.
*********
The journey of Jan Sangh from 1950 to 2017 has been a journey of Antyodaya, Integral Humanism and Cultural Nationalism and these are our basic principles
*********
BJP Governments succeed because they run on the principles of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya's Antyodaya. By Antyodaya – we mean to bring the last person of the society who was left behind in the development race to the first row.

Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Amit Shah, addressed an intellectuals and eminent citizen conference under 'New Bharat Manthan, Sankalpa Se Siddhi' program in Samanvaya Bhawan in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on Friday evening. He discussed several issues and elaborated the ideology and principles of the Bharatiya Janata Party in detail. Shri Shah is on a three-day visit of Madhya Pradesh as part of his 110 day nationwide travel program covering all the states of our country.

Earlier, a welcome rally will be organised by the party workers from VIP circuit house. Shri Shah garlanded the statues of Pt.Deendayal Upadhyaya and Raja Bhoj. Later president was greeted with a warm welcome by the BJP leaders at the BJP state head quarter in Bhopal. He presided over a joint meeting of Pradesh and central office-bearers, members of the state core group, state spokespersons, MPs, MLAs, district presidents, divisional oraganisation secretaries, Presidents of various Morchas and cells, and state and district convenors of different departments and projects. Shri Shah also held a meeting of state office bearers, district office bearers, district in-charge, divisional organization secretaries and members of core group apart from a separate meeting with BJP MPs, legislators and core group members.

Emphasizing on the need to strengthen internal democracy in political parties, Shri Shah said that in a multi-party parliamentary democratic system the evaluation of any political party should be based on three parameters: - internal democracy, ideology and work done by the government. Exhorting that time has come now that people of the country should evaluate political parties on these basic parameters, Shri Shah said that Bharatiya Janata Party is indeed a party with difference because it is the only party out of more than 1650 registered political entities in the country, having a robust internal democracy. "If there is no democracy within the party then it cannot do any good to the country and the nation's democracy is at risk.

In most Indian political parties anyone can predict as to who will be the next party chief", Shri Shah said. Shri Shah said that in the BJP, leaders are selected on the basis of their loyalty, dedication to work for the nation, hard work, talent and performance, that is why even a booth worker can become the party president and the son of a poor can become Prime Minister of the country.

He said everyone know that who will be the next president of the Congress but nobody knows who the next BJP president would be. It clearly shows that there is no democracy left in the Congress while the BJP has. Citing internal democracy in the BJP, the national president said that the BJP President is not appointed on the basis of birth in a particular family, but on the basis of his deeds. Shri Shah said that the second most important criterion for the comparative study of political parties should be the ideology of the party. To understand the principles of Bharatiya Janata Party, one should keep in mind the circumstances that led to the formation of Jan Sangh, the national president added.

He said that when Jan Sangh was founded there was no question at all to wrest the power. "Bharatiya Jan Sangh was founded to provide the country with an alternative policy on the basis of certain values and principles", BJP President stated. When the union government under first Prime Minister Shri Jawahar Lal Nehru, was framing development, agriculture, foreign, defence, education and economic policies, nationalist ideologues like Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee thought that if Nehru continues to proceed to this path there will be no chance of a turn back to our country. It was under these grave circumstances that they came forward with an alternative policy which had the flavor of Indian soil without western ideas. He said that the journey of Bharatiya Janata Party from Jan Sangha from 1950 to 2017 has been a journey of Antodaya, Integral Humanism and cultural nationalism and that is our basic principle. Antyodaya is to bring progress in the life of last person of the society who was left behind in development process.

Shri Shah said that the fundamental difference between the Congress and the BJP was that the Congress wanted to rebuild the country after destroying its ancient heritage and culture while the Bharatiya Janata Party wanted to nation building process be based on its glorious ancient heritage and culture. Terming Congress as a Special Purpose Vehicle, Shri Shah said that Congress had no ideology as it was formed only to achieve the independence. Our ideology and principles becomes clear when compare the popular movements undertaken by the Congress and the BJP after the independence. We launched massive movements to resolve the country's burning problems such as Hyderabad liberation movement, the Goa Liberation Movement, movement to make Kashmir an integral part of India, Ram Janm Bhoomi movement, Kutch Satyagraha, Chetna Yatra and nationwide tour against corruption, he said. Our intellectual leaders dedicated every moment of their life in the service of Bharat Mata, this itself is an indicator of our ideology, he said adding that parties which do not functions on the basis of principle can do no good to the country. He said that Bharatiya Janata Party is the only party which runs on the basis of principles and wants to restore the lost glory of the country. Party which began its journey with 10 members, has turned into the world's largest political party with more than 11 crore members today, the party president said. We have 1387 MLAs, more than 330 MPs with the full majority government at the centre under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. None of our programs are framed to glorify any individual, Shri Shah stated.

Shri Shah said that the people of the country have seen the governments of the Congress, regional parties and in some states the governments of the Left parties also. They have also seen the works done by the BJP governments. One can easily study comparative figures of our development works. He said that these figure shows that the country has grown stronger under the BJP government. Party president said that the growth rate before BJP-led NDA government under the leadership of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji took over, was 4.4%, while Shri Vajpayee ji took the country's growth rate to 8.4%. But Manmohan Singh led UPA government again brought it to 4% in 10 years. During last three years under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, we have succeeded in bringing it again to 7.2%, Shri shah said adding that it is clear that whenever the BJP comes to power in the country, the country's GDP rises and whenever the Congress assumes power, the GDP plummets. He said that during Bharatiya Janata Party's government, the country progresses further on the path of development because the party works on the basis of principles. Recalling 10 years of chaotic UPA rule the BJP president said that under Sonia Gandhi led Congress government there were scams to the tune of around Rs 12 lakh crore, the economy was getting worse, there was resentment among youth, boundaries of the country were not safe and there was an atmosphere of chaos everywhere. In three years of Bharatiya Janata Party government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has become the fastest growing economy in the worl, Shri Shah added. Emphasizing the party's record of clean governance, the BJP president stated that even our opponents cannot level allegation of corruption against us. Shri Narendra Modi had made it clear by taking oath of office as Prime Minister that his government would be dedicated to the welfare of the villages, poor, dalits, backward and tribals of the country and the government has been working for fulfilling this goal for three years. He said that in the last three years, the Modi government has took many decisions for the development of the country and the welfare of the poor and all these decisions have been taken not to look good but for the good of the people. Elaborating that the Prime Minister has transformed the governance by eliminating hindrances and Modi government has shown that how villages and cities can be developed simultaneously with economic development and welfare go side by side.

Shri Shah said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party government has initiated around 106 schemes for the development and welfare of the poor and not a single scheme is meant for a particular section, instead all our schemes are inclusive. By launching 104 satellites in space together, India has emerged as a major space power he said that through the Ujjwala scheme, gas cylinders have been transported to the homes of about 30 million poor women in the country. Women have been given the right to live with dignity by constructing more than four crore toilets and opening a bank account of about 29 crore people, BJP president informed.

He said that self-employment opportunities have been made available to millions of poor youth of the country through Mudra Bank Scheme. Launching a scathing attack on the Congress, Shri Shah said people of the state should ask what Congress has done for them in 70 years. Had Congress accomplished these works we would not have been credited for fulfilling these tasks. He said that the Congress relished power for all these years but perhaps it had no idea that the power is meant for the welfare of the villages, poor, farmers, dalits, backward, tribals, youth and the women.

With the crucial tax reform GST, the dream of 'one nation, one tax' has come true, he said. Shri Shah praised the strict action taken against black money along with the demonetization, benami property law, campaign against shell companies and Mauritius-Cyprus-Singapore route. He said that with the global recognition of Yoga, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi did a great service in empowering Indian culture. He said that the surgical strike has changed the world view about our country. Out 19 thousand villages with no electricity, even after 70 years of independence, 13500 villages have been electrified and rest would be electrified till 2018. He said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi gave India a new recognition adding that government has been working in fast pace to achieve the goal of doubling the income of the farmers by 2022 through schemes like Prime Minister Crop Insurance, Soil Health Cards, Neem Coated Urea, Irrigation Scheme and e-Mandi. Mr. Shah said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi we have provided a corruption-free, transparent and decisive government to the country. He said that many governments have done two historical works in 50 years, while the Modi government has done 50 historic works in three years The BJP President said that in the last three years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party government at the Center accomplished several works for the development of Madhya Pradesh. In the 14th Finance Commission, the Modi government has allocated Rs 2,99,389 crore as central share for Madhya Pradesh, whereas in the 13th Finance Commission, the Congress led UPA Government had given Rs 10,885 crore only, allocation by our government is three times as compared to the UPA government, the BJP President informed.

He said that in the form of grant funds, the 14th Finance Commission has allocated an amount of Rs.22,369 crore to Madhya Pradesh which is almost twice in the 13th Finance Commission under the UPA Government. The UPA gave only 11,450 crore rupees in this category. He said that instead of Rs 1628 crore in the State Disaster Response Fund, the Modi Government has fixed the amount of Rs 3,635 crore for Madhya Pradesh in the 14th Finance Commission. Shri Shah said that in the 14th Finance Commission, the Modi government has allocated Rs 18,733 crore for Madhya Pradesh as its share in Central Tax, while in the 13th Finance Commission the Congress government provided only Rs 5,014 crore to the state of Madhya Pradesh. It is about three and a half times more than the UPA. He said that the Modi Government has allocated Madhya Pradesh as National Disaster Relief Fund, more than ten times the amount given by the Congress government. During the year 2014-15, UPA Government in the 13th Finance Commission only provided only Rs 83 crore to Madhya Pradesh in the form of National Disaster Relief Fund, while Modi government gave Rs 1,076 crore for the first two years of the 14th Finance Commission. He said that if all these were to be merged, the Congress led government had given only Rs 1,34,190 crore to the Madhya Pradesh in the 13th Finance Commission, while the Narendra Modi Government gave 344,126 for this in the 14th Finance Commission Crore has been allocated, which is more than two lakh crores than the Congress government. In addition to central schemes, the Modi government has given more than Rs. 31859 crores to the state of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Shah said.

Addressing intellectuals and eminent citizen meet, the national president exhorted, the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of Shri Shivraj Singh are working for the welfare of the people.
